uhai-SHIMS is a product of Dijito Tech Labs, a fully incorporated software and systems development company in Uganda specializing in innovative digital solutions for healthcare and education. The uhai-SHIMS project is a School Health Information Management System designed to streamline the recording, tracking, and management of student health data within educational institutions. By providing secure, centralized, and accessible health records, the App empowers schools to monitor wellness, coordinate care, and make informed health decisions efficiently.

Intended Users

uhai-SHIMS is designed exclusively for use by authorized adults involved in student health management. Its primary users include:

• School Nurses: To record daily health checks, vaccinations, chronic condition monitoring, and referrals.

• Doctors and Health Practitioners: To access and analyze student health data, provide medical guidance, and follow up on medical cases.

• Parents and Guardians: To stay informed about their children’s health, consent to data entry, and communicate with school health staff.

• School Administrators: To oversee health program implementation, ensure compliance, and generate institutional health reports.
